Best islands in Thailand

The islands off the coast of Thailand in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Siam to visit some of the most popular places for tourists in South East Asia . Some of these islands are famous worldwide for its beautiful beaches and party atmosphere . But the best islands in Thailand also offer many opportunities for recreation, relaxation and spiritual exploration.

Ko Lipe :
Reviewed by sea gypsies is Ko Lipe, Adang -Rawi archipelago in the southwest of Thailand. There is a small island and visitors can walk around the island in a little over an hour's walk . Ko Lipe is located just outside the jurisdiction of Tarutao National Park and as such is exempt from certain laws relating to the prohibition of the development . Its three main beaches have many accommodation huts and air-conditioned bungalows .

Ko Lanta :
Ko Lanta consists of a group of islands off the coast of Thailand in Krabi province made ​​. The largest island of the group is Ko Lanta Yai also known as simply Ko Lanta. Ko Phangan :
Koh Phangan is an island in the Gulf of Thailand , halfway between the islands of Ko Samui and Ko Tao. It is a popular destination for the community backpack that come to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the island, including tropical forests and beaches. Each year, the island was known as a dance festival celebrates the full moon electronics . Tourists who want a quieter holiday are interested to visit Ko Pha Ngan many Buddhist temples. The island is also known for its spas and meditation retreats .

Phuket :
Phuket is the name of a province in both Thai and the capital of this province. Phuket Province covers a large island and several small islands off the west coast of the continent. Apart from Bangkok, this is the most popular recreational area in the country , and many picturesque beaches are full of tourist facilities for visitors. Ko Chang :
The hotel is located near the Cambodian border , Ko Chang is the third largest island in Thailand and the largest island in the Ko Chang Marine Park. It is a mountainous island known for several waterfalls , coral reefs , rainforests booming and white sand beaches . In less than ten years , Ko Chang has become a major tourist destination in Thailand , although still much quieter than islands like Phuket or Koh Samui.

Koh Tao :
Ko Tao has quickly become the preferred destination of those who come to Thailand for recreational purposes. The island offers especially for divers , climbers and hikers dip. About 7,000 new divers on Koh Tao to certify annually , making it one of the most popular destinations in the world to learn to dive . Fishermen also visit the island in increasing numbers in the hope that a copy of the abundant marlin , red snapper or barracuda catch . With the population explosion of tourism Ko Tao, a number of resorts , bars and nightclubs, but it is still open for those who can not find a relaxing holiday in the quiet one of the least developed areas of the island.

Ko Phi Phi :
Ko Phi Phi is a small archipelago in Krabi province in southern Thailand. Ko Phi Phi Don is the largest island of the group and is the only island with permanent inhabitants , while the smaller Ko Phi Phi Leh is famous as the location for the 2000 film " The Beach ." Ko Phi Phi was heavily damaged by the tsunami in the Indian Ocean in December 2004, when almost all of the infrastructure of the island was made . Rehabilitation , however, was quick and the service is back with building regulations in place to limit the number of new hotels and other buildings in order to preserve the island offers stunning views.
